Kitchens, Kitchens and A Place for Baby

There must have been a lot of cooking, in a lot of bad kitchens over the holidays, because January has brought a ton of kitchen renovation projects to JTD!  Each day has been filled with contractor meetings, showroom visits and lots of emails to make sure every detail is covered.  Things have gotten so busy that I've brought in a great friend (and designer) to help me a few days a week and it's been great to know I can be in two places at one time. Since I don't have any exciting or beautiful photos to share of any of the kitchen projects quite yet, I wanted to share a few details about another project we have been working on.  A nursery!  I love designing little spaces and this one is going to be spectacular.  My client is a baby girl and her super busy parents.  They only had two requests for the nursery - that we have pink somewhere and I find the perfect spot for this guy...

It's going to be a wonderful space of pink, gray and a some sweet animals mixed in.  We are really looking forward to getting it installed in March and taking this huge task off these parent's list.  They now can concentrate on enjoying their last few months of sleeping through the night.  :)
