With the passing of Stuart Scott, there has been a lot of "cancer talk" in the media these past few days and his moving words regarding his battle with cancer has been everywhere.  I love how his message is that you beat cancer in how you live. Today would have been my mom's 62nd birthday and she beat cancer's ass for 20 months.  But that's not what I remember most about my mom.  She loved us and she loved us hard.  She would have done ANYTHING for us and most of the time she did.  By us, I mean her family.  Her family was her life.  So, today I celebrate my mom and will walk today (and every day) remembering her love for me.
