Happy Red Day!

To be honest, I'm not a romantic and think Valentine's Day is silly, but I felt the need to "celebrate" with all things red. First, let me introduce my valentine...my 8-year-old son Wes. He surprised me this morning with some beautiful coasters for our new coffee table. I love him so much and am proud to be his mother. Designing is definitely a passion of mine, but my most challenging and rewarding job has been that of mom. He has taught me the best lessons about love, laughter and most of all patience!

{Red} is a color at the end of the spectrum next to orange at the opposite of violet. That sounds like a very boring definition of red to me. Red is strong and deserves a place of honor in your home. I personally like to use it only as an accent, but if you love it, use it on walls or rugs or draperies or all of the above!

Here are some pretty red things that have caught my eye lately...

If you are ready to put a little red (or any other color) in your room, give me a call today. I look forward to working with you and making your home, your own!
